Water. My goal 120 Ounces Per Day!



My goal is 120 ounces of water each day. My guideline is to drink half of my body weight in water. That's 15 eight ounces glasses of water a day, folks!


Food Journalling has been great in the fact that it made me accountable as to what I was eating and posting it so everyone could read what I ate but... it wasn't giving me the results I was looking for. I realize that I am not consuming enough water. Not near enough! This is causing me to become dehydrated which equals in fatigue, bloating, increased hunger and constipation. Yeah, not being bloated and pooping regularily is a GOOD thing~

So, I've decieded that I'm going to log what I am drinking. Ie, water. I've eliminated coffee from my plan. Its very challenging though because Roll Up The Rim is on at Tim Horton's and I'm feeling fatigued so coffee from Timmy's would help both right now. However, I realize that will NOT help my plan or help me in losing weight.

What do you do to remind yourself to drink your water? Is it challenging for you? I'm looking for tips right now..

Sat. Food.

8:30 Am 3 Eggs. Coconut oil. 2 Vitadophilis. Water

12:30 1 Cup of Steamed Veg. with homemade hummus. 2 Litres of water throughout day.

6:00 Dinner party with bowls of pasta, garlic bread, ceasar salads, wine and tiramasu. I PASSED ON IT ALL! I drank water. Everything was loaded in sauce, cheese or spice. I knew I couldn't eat it. I did have one small piece of Tiramasu.

9:00 PM 1 Spelt Pita with one Red Bean Burger. 1 Litre of water throughout evening.

10:30 1 Cup of Rice Milk with 1 cup of mixed berries, Nuplus, 5 Quinary, Suncare.

5:30 1/2 Small Wrap with chicken. Water

8:00 PM 2 Nuplus. Water

I woke up at 4:30 and couldn't sleep. Went back to bed and slept until 10:30 AM.

11:00 AM 2 Eggs with coconut oil. Water. Water. 2Vitadophilis.

1:30 PM Small orange. Water.

2:44 Hungry. Will drink warm water with Fortune Delight.

Gastrointestinal Problems

11:00 AM Bob's Hot Cereal with seeds, cinnamon and1/3 cup of blueberries. 1 Vitadolphilis. Water. 1/2 cup of Cali Tea. Not sure if tea is a good idea right now..

Water throughout day

3:30 Apple sauce 1/2 cup unsweetened.

5:30 PM 1 Steamed apple and small chicken breast. I know its weird but it settled me.

Water throughout evening up until bedtime.

Tummy Troubles.

The last two days we were away and I did not eat well. That was reality and now my stomach is not well. I am suffering from constipation that has caused pain to my back, made me extremely irritable and I took the day off to deal with my issues.

8:00 AM For breakfast, I was afraid to eat very much so I opted for 3 eggs overeasy with coconut oil. Throughout the morning I've been sipping on a litre of cold distilled water with lemon.

11:30 AM One orange.

2:00 Drank water.. 1 Cup of Mushroom Pilaf and 1/2 cup of Red Dahl.

5:30 PM One Spelt Pita with 1 small Lentil Patty

8:00 PM 2 Nuplus.

Today's Eats.

Isn't it funny how every holiday consists of food? Look at today, Valentine's Day. Chocolates, Wine, a dinner out! Well, I'm having the dinner out with my husband but the reservation is for Japanese.. Yummy!


5:30 AM Three eggs. Cereal with seeds. Calli Tea. I'm looking forward to Week Three of Rob's plan. I'm tiring of the eggs... Ithink... Heh.

10:30 AM 1 Small SOY Steamer with sugar free vanilla. 1 Slice of Cranberry Loaf.

1:00 Mixed Greens with Oriental Dressing. 1/2 cup of 8 grain rice salad. 2 Slices of Water Melon. 2 Wedges of Pita Toast with Black Bean Dip.

7:30 1/2 Cup of Miso Soup. 6 Edamane. 1/2 Bento Box with Salmon, Sushi, Veggie skewer, Shrimp, Terriaki Beef and Rice. 3 Glasses of white wine.

Today's Food Diary. Working Late.

8:00 AM 3 Eggs in Coconut Oil. Bob's hot cereal with seeds, etc. Almond Milk. 1 Cup of Calli and Fortune. (1 Bag) 1 capsule of Quinary. Last one!

4:00 PM Carrots, Cukes, Cellery with Black Bean Dip. Pita Crackers. Water.

9:00 PM Chicken Salad Wrap. Tea.

Tough day. Not enough water or food. Not to mention, Sunrider.

Feb 12

Oops, two days later and no logging! I'm jumping back on. Here's yesterdays food.

6:30 Am 3 Eggs with coconut oil. Pepper. One glass of distilled water.

10:00 Am 1 Small Steamer Soy with sugar free vanilla flavouring. 1 Vitalite Bar.

1:00 PM 1 Cup of Veggie Miso Soup. 2 Cups of green grapes.

6:00 PM 1 Small Vegetarian Pizza.

Food Diary.

7:30 Am 3 Eggs scrambled in coconut oil. 1 litre of distilled water throughout the morning. 2 Quinary.

1:00 PM Green salad with Quinoa Salad. Mug of Green Tea.

3:30 PM 2 Spelt Wraps with greens and two slices of Soy Cheese.

5:00 PM Fish. 1 Cups of fries from oven. Mug of green tea.

Miso Vegetable Soup.

Yesterday, while wandering down the aisles I saw this. I have a fondness for Sushi and Miso Soup. There is something nourishing, exotic and intriguing about Miso... I surfed the Internet and there wasn't a recipe that I thought used ingredients I had so............
Sometimes recipes come from necessity and using what's in your fridge!

MISO VEGGIE SOUP
*********************

Ingredients





4 Cups of Vegetable Broth


1/2 Red Pepper Julienned


2 Sliced Cellery Stalks


1/2 of one large Sliced Portabello Mushroom


2 Grated Carrots


2 Diced Green Onions


1 Cup of small Brocolli pieces


4 Heaping Teaspoons of Shiro Miso


1/2 block of Firm Tofu


Juice from 1/2 fresh Lime


Pepper to taste


2 Ounces of cooked Buckwheat Noodles


Pepper to taste


1 Tablespoon of Sesame Oil


1 handful of baby Spinach


1 tsp. of hot sauce or chilli flakes





Directions











Saute vegetables except for mushroom and green onion in Sesame Oil. Add broth and bring to a boil. Turn to low heat and add tofu, green onions, cooked noodles and baby spinach for five minutes. In a measuring cup combine Miso and 1 Cup of broth. Mix thoroughly together and pour into soup. Remove from heat and serve. Enjoy!

This is a very hearty soup that could well be a meal on its own!

Back on track.

6:30 AM 1 Litre of distilled water.

7:00 AM Hot cereal with almond milk and seeds. 3 eggs in coconut oil with black pepper.

9:00 AM 2 Nuplus with Calli. Three cups of Calli throughout the morning.

12:00 PM 1 Large green salad with hemp seeds and 1/2 avocado, Udo's oil dressing. 1 Large glass of distilled water. 1/2 cup of Mung Bean Dal.

3:00 PM 4 Ryvita Crackers with White Bean Dip.

6:30 PM 2 Spelt pita with tomato paste, 1.2 Portobello mushrooms, shallots, slivered red/yellow pepper and one slice each of soy cheese. 1/2 cup of Mung Bean Dal.

9:00 PM Popcorn 1Litre of Distilled Water througoutevening.

SPEED BUMPS

Whew, I'm almost myself again. Today I woke up with a headache and I'm thinking its from the sugar cookie I ate. I haven't eaten sugar for so long...




6:00 AM 1 bottle of distilled water. 3 eggs cooked in coconut oil.

10:30 AM Steamer and Slice of Banana Bread. I've got to lay off the banana bread.

1:00 PM 1/2 cup of each from salad bar. Bean salad. Cantalope. Mushrooms. Tomatoes. Green Salad.

4:00 PM Headache still. Bottle of water and Sunbar.

7:00 PM 5 Piece of Sushi and Bragg's. 1 Piece of Chicken. 2 Glasses of distilled water.

9:00 PM Cali Tea and 5 bitesized gingersnaps.

MESSAGE TO SELF: SWEETS ARE NOT PART OF PLAN AND DO NOT AID IN WEIGHT LOSS SUCCESS.

6:00 PM Chicken.Potatoes. Small Salad.

9:00 Calli Tea and 1 Valentine Cookie. (Sweetie bought it for me.. Ugh..)

6:30 AM 2 Nuplus made with Calli, sunflower seeds and Suncare. 3 Scrambled eggs in coconut oil. 1 Mug of Calli.

10:30 AM 1 Slice of Banana Bread. 1 Soy Steamer.

1:00 PM Quinoa Salad with mixed greens and kidney beans. 1Mug of Fortune Delight. 1 Vitalite Bar.

2:30 PM Meeting. Didn't eat muffins and coffee. Drank water only.

6:00 PM 1 Cup of Brown Rice. 1 Cup of Kidney Beans. Brocolli. Green Onions. Coconut Oil. Curry Powder.

4:00 PM 2 Slices of Lentil Loaf. 2 Cups of Brocolli. 1 Nuplus. 1 Cup of Calli.

6:30 PM 1 Steamer of Soy Milk with flavour.

10:00 Pm Water. 5 Cuinary. Chicken.

Feb. 4th, 2009 Food Diary

6:30 AM 2 Cups of Calli Tea and 5 Cuinary.

10:30 AM 1 Steamer of Soy Milk.

12:30 PM 2 Slices of Lentil Loaf. 1 Cup of Brocolli. 1 Cup of roasted lime sweet potatoes. 1 Glass of water. 1 Mandarine.

6:00 PM 1 Cup of Dahl. 1 Slice of Lentil Loaf. Chicken breast. 2 Slices of Whole Wheat Bread. 2 Cups of Tea.

8:30 PM In bed. 2 Nuplus with Suncare and made with Calli Tea.

Still feeling under the weather. Fatigued. The flu is hanging on. Noticible cough.

9:00 5 Cuinary and Water. Went to bed.

1:00 PM Large green salad with 1 tablespoon of pumpkin and sunflower seeds. 2 Tablespoons of Oriental Salad Dressing. 1/3 cup of cooked chick peas. 2 Mugs of Calli Tea. 1 Vitalite Bar.


7:00 PM Medium Ham and Pineapple Pizza. 2 Mugs of Tea.


8:30 PM Went to sleep. Still sick with flu/cold. First day back to work.
